Thanks to Wyndham City Council and Melton City Council and many international and local partners the first Global Learning Festival is coming
Please visit the Global Learning Festival Website which will be held from September 1-4 https://www.globallearningfestival.com/. A range of events have been organised. Learn about Permaculture; Climate Change; Indigenous Literacy Day; Tasmanian Abolone; Creative and Active Learning Communities in Pecs, Hungary; Irish Lifelong Learning Festivals; ideas to involve young people in co-designing their city (from Wolverhampton, UK); practical help to build a CV; and many more topics. Please start to register for events and let your communities know about the Festival and encourage them to register. I enclose a flier about the Global Learning Festival that you can use to let people know. Also, I enclose a flier about the Collective Impact Assessment Tool, a tool designed to measure how well partnerships deliver on Project or Learning City activities in order to assess Collective Impact. This tool was designed by Dr Shanti Wong, Peter Blunden and Mr Ian Wong as part of the original Melton Learning City project and is available from the Melton City Council web site https://meltonciat.com/ . Dr Shanti Wong, Ms Diane Tabbagh and Jac Torres-Gomez (Wyndham City Council) and Ms Bernadette OConnor, (Management Governance Australia) will speak about the practical application of the Tool. This session will be held on 1 September at 4 pm (AEST) and you can register at https://bit.ly/31HSEqW. For more information about the Global Learning Festival or any queries please contact Jac Torres-Gomez (Wyndham City Council) or Cass Connelly (Melton City Council) at info@globallearningfestival.com. (you might still be able to register your event as well?) |
